BATAVIA, IL — Commuters should expect "major delays" on Batavia Avenue Monday and Tuesday as water utility repairs take place, city officials said.
Lane closures and flaggers will be in place Monday and Tuesday while construction is underway. Lanes are expected to reopen late Tuesday afternoon, according to an alert.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible.
