The THUNDER BOTS team.competing in the Batavia Robotics "Lego Dogs" division. won first place in regional competition in Country Club Hills and will compete in the state finals January18-19th in Arlington Heights.
The teal (l to r) John Lorenzo, Matt Ashe, Jack Hubert, Nathan Schulhof and Pono Casey were led by coach Brendan Casey through 8 hours of competition in the regional contest.
The Batavia/Fox Valley Robotics organization encourages teamwork and individual development in students 4thto 8th grade fostering interest in science and technology. Their theme is ROBOTICS = FUN + CHALLENGING!
