Dreyer Medical Clinic Announces Two New Vice Presidents of Operations

Dreyer Medical Clinic is pleased to announce Leslie Dockan, R.N., B.A., and Debbie Schwartz, R.N., B.A., M.A. as the new Vice Presidents of Operations.  Ms. Dockan was previously the Director of Process Improvement, and Ms. Schwartz was the Site Director of Dreyer’s West Aurora location.

Prior to joining Dreyer, Leslie Dockan worked for 12 years as an inpatient nurse, and spent over six years with Thedacare in Appleton, Wisconsin.  Her experience at Thedacare included managing lab and registration for Encircle Health, a multispecialty outpatient clinic that serves over 16,000 patients per month.  Leslie also held the role of internal sensei for the Thedacare Improvement System, applying Lean principles to improve the delivery of health care and support operations throughout a diverse set of departments and services.  Ms. Dockan joined Dreyer as the Director of Process Improvement in January 2011.  She earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

As Vice President of Operations, Ms. Dockan will oversee the Clinic’s Batavia, Fox Valley Villages, Hinckley, Orchard Road, Oswego, Plainfield, West Aurora, West Downer Place, and Yorkville locations.

Debbie Schwartz joined Dreyer in 1992 as a Registered Nurse in the Clinic’s Walk-In Care department.  She later held various supervisory roles in Internal Medicine.  For the last seven years, Debbie has managed clinical operations at the Clinic’s West Aurora location.  She was named Site Director in 2008, overseeing operations at Dreyer’s flagship site which includes over 15 departments and services and conducts over 15,000 patient visits per month.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the University of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.

As Vice President of Operations, Ms. Schwartz will oversee Dreyer’s Highland and Rush-Copley Campus locations.
