Arrival in my new "home" meeting my new "family"

I had a very long walk to customs and although the women didn't speak english it went well. After customs I found myself in a very weird bathroom that I wash't 100% sure how to use. Then I saw I had "D14" on my face because I had written it on my hand earlier and I must have slept on my hand. Then i went to go find my bags, I had to get a cart to be able to carry them all. The people here are already so nice, people saw me struggling to pick up my exactly 50 pound bags and eminently rushed over to help me. I finally can see my new family! As I walk through the gate I can hear my new mom shout my name and the whole family and 2 rotarians are there and they all greet me with a hug and kiss on the cheek. I is a rainy day in La Plata today so we get to the car as fast as possible.

After lunch i unpacked my stuff and took a nap. I got to take a shower and we watched a soccer game after that. Then we drove around La Plata, most buildings are not tall but there are so many stores!  it is a very big city and there are lots of soccer stadiums and museums. I live by the "forrest" which is like a bunch of trees and a park. There are parks everywhere here, like as dividers between the roads there are parks and tons of grass. The roads here are so confusing I am very happy I am not allowed to drive here. There aren't stop signs, there are speed bumps and animals everywhere, and at the main streets that do have stop lights they have things that count down until the light changes. Also if there aren't any cars coing you can just go throw a red light and the police won't care.
