Batavia Bookshop To Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day
Support your local bookstore and enjoy a visit from Bernie's Bully Dogs while you're at it.

BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia Bookshop will hold a special event Saturday to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day, a holiday dedicated to supporting local booksellers throughout the U.S. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will include discounts and a visit from Bernie's Bully Dogs.
The Bookshop, which recently realized a long-time dream of being open throughout the week to serve full-time as Batavia's bookstore, offers a wide selection of books. As part of Independent Bookstore Day, the store is offering a buy one, get one free deal on its books.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bernie's Bully Dogs will be on hand to serve customers some their storied hot dogs and give customers a chance to refuel as they browse.
