The Board of Directors of Batavia United Way (BUW) is pleased to announce that Barbara Theuerkauf is taking on the role of the new Executive Director. Barbara has served on the Board of Directors for the past year and decided to take the helm. As a board member, she played a pivotal role in the Soup Tasting fundraiser as well as the Barn Party fundraiser. Barbara brings many years of nonprofit experience as well as a passion to help individuals in need. Her family includes her husband and three daughters. Barbara enjoys sports, reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering! She hopes to continue to build on the strong foundation of BUW. "Our family has enjoyed living in Batavia for the last 18 years and we love the Batavia community," says Barbara. "One of my life’s passions has always been community outreach and serving those in need. I have had the privilege of serving on the Batavia United Way board for the last year and I look forward to my new role as Executive Director.” Please join the Batavia United Way Board of Directors in welcoming Barbara to her new role at Batavia United Way.
