Batavia Church Helps Iglesia San Pablo-Aurora Help Others
Immanuel-Batavia assisted sister congregation San Pablo-Aurora with donations.

God gave the members of Immanuel the opportunity to be His hands and feet this Christmas season and church and school came together to support brothers and sisters in faith at Iglesia San Pablo Lutheran Church in Aurora. Through these generous donations, ILCS provided enough groceries for San Pablo to stock their food bank pantry three times over! The supplies donated will help San Pablo give back to those in need, by supplying groceries to families who are struggling. In addition, Immanuel families generously donated more than $1,500 in gift cards to major retail stores such as Wal-Mart, Meijer, Kohls, and Target. Thank you to everyone who took part in blessing San Pablo this Christmas season. Before Christmas Break, students at Immanuel Lutheran School took a field trip to help deliver the gifts to San Pablo, helped restock the food bank, met Pastor Merlo, and learned who the food bank donations would serve this season.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.” —Matthew 25:40
