Batavia Dinner Table Gathering To Return After 2-Year Hiatus
About 200 people will be able to gather on North River Street and eat a farm-to-table meal together as a community.

BATAVIA, IL — After a two-year hiatus, the community will once again have the chance to gather and eat together at Batavia Dinner Table, set to take place Aug. 7.
Hosted by not-for-profit organization Batavia MainStreet, Batavia Dinner Tables allows about 200 people to gather on North River Street and eat a farm-t0-table meal together as a community. The event serves as an avenue to raise money for Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, and to date, organizers of the event have contributed almost $39,000 to the pantry.
Batavia Dinner Table will kick off at 4 p.m. and feature food made with ingredients sourced primarily from Batavia Farmers Market vendors. Meals will be prepared by chefs from downtown Batavia restaurants, according to a news release.

- Energy City Brewing
- Haylie B’s Bakery

- Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden
- The Tea Tree
- Windmill Grille & Pizzeria
Tickets to the event, which can be purchased online, cost $85. Dinner will include a beer and wine service, so organizers require attendees to be at least 21 years old.

Batavia Dinner Table isn't the only Batavia MainStreet event returning this summer. Cocktails in the Park will be taking place July 23 at Appleton Park, and guests will be able to enjoy an evening of live music, appetizers and, of course, cocktails.
