Batavia Park District Plans 'Halloween Happenings'
Pre-registration is required for all events throughout October because space is limited.
If you love Halloween, Batavia Park District has several events throughout the month of October just for you! Whether you like to be scared, enjoy decorating for the occasion, or are craving some candy, our events will get you in the Halloween spirit.
Please note that pre-registration is required for all events since space is limited. It's recommended to register early as some events will sell out.

Halloween Drive-In Movie: Hocus PocusSaturday, October 3 at 7:00 pm, West Main Community ParkIt's a special showing of Hocus Pocus at this drive-in movie event. Cars will be safely social distanced. To listen to the movie, you'll need to bring a personal radio or download a radio app on your mobile device. Don't forget the blankets, chairs, pillows, and snacks!
A Nightmare at West MainFriday, October 16 and Friday, October 23, 7:00-9:00 pm, West Main Community ParkEnter if you dare! Take a haunted hike through the trails at West Main. Time slots for the Halloween hike are every half hour; reserve your time slot in advance. If you would rather spook than be spooked, we are looking for volunteers! Halloween House Decorating ContestJudging takes place Wednesday, October 21 from 5:00-9:00 pmDress up your house for Halloween! Prizes will be awarded for overall theme and people's choice. Addresses will be released on October 22 for the public to view the houses. Register your house by October 19.
Trick or Treat YourselfFriday, October 30We'll bring the Halloween treats to your front yard! Surprise your family with a Halloween-inspired candy hunt right at home. Once we drop off the treats, do the trick-or-treater dash in your front yard. Assorted candy and snacks will be safely bagged inside plastic pumpkins.
