Batavia Public Library Seeks Candidates for Library Trustee

Nomination packets for persons interested in running for a seat on the Batavia Public Library District Board of Library Trustees are now available at the library’s Check Out Desk. Trustees will be elected to a four-year term. Election forms also are available online at www.elections.il.gov.

Persons running for trustee must be a resident of the library district.

Completed nomination packets, which include a statement of candidacy, a statement of economic interest, and a petition signed by 50 library district voters, must be filed at the library’s Business Office between 9 a.m. on December 15 and 5 p.m. on December 22.

Three seats on the library board will be decided in the April 7, 2015, consolidated election.
