Hello BPS101 Families-

BPS101 is grateful to partner with families as we team up to help students learn and grow. One COVID-related change that had a positive impact on our school community last year was virtual open houses and conferences. This was a big change, but we received positive feedback from families. Attendance was up at these events, as families had the flexibility and could often participate without missing work or battling to get a parking spot.

This year, we will continue with virtual open houses at all levels and will continue to offer virtual conferences with your child’s teachers.  We realize that parents value in-person events as well, so we will re-establish in-person opportunities for families to build the school community. Look for future communication from your child’s teacher and principal regarding curriculum nights, open houses, fall conferences, and in-person events.

Driver Shortage

There is a nationwide bus driver shortage, and all districts in our region have been impacted. BPS101 families may have already experienced some delays and canceled charters because of the shortage. Our transportation providers are making every effort to staff all of the bus routes and charter routes. At this time, no changes to bus routes are necessary, but families should continue to be aware of the potential for late buses or canceled after-school charters.

If interested in becoming a driver, visit First Student.

Bulldog Stadium Friday Night Fun

Foodservice Reminder

Elementary families are encouraged, but not required to order lunches through SchoolCafe.  If you are using SchoolCafe,  place your orders by 7 a.m. Online ordering is not available for RMS and BHS.

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility. And GO BULLDOGS!
