Batavia WinterFest Art Market Dates Set

BATAVIA, IL — WinterFest Art Market is less than a month out. This year's event hosted by Batavia MainStreet and Water Street Studios is set to take place Nov. 10-12.

Similar to past years, the event will feature a "unique shopping experience" of artisan goods — handmade items, vintage treasures and repurposed pieces among them — fine art, food, beverages and live music.

One new feature this year is a makers workshop where Water Street Studios instructors will teach a winter watercolor paint and sip class, a metal ornament-making class and an artisan wrapping paper class.

Booths will be set up at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St.; The Dock, 150 First St.; Hearth & Hammer, 160 First St., and pop-ups Saturday at Sturdy Shelter Brewing, 10 Shumway Ave. The fest will be held from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 12.
