BatFest 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run on Saturday, October 24
Batavia United Way is hosting the BatFest 5K Walk/Run as well as a certified 10K Run on Saturday, October 24th at 9am.
Batavia United Way is hosting the BatFest 5K Walk/Run as well as a newly added, certified 10K Run on Saturday, October 24th. The runs begin at River & State Streets in Batavia and head north along the scenic Fox River Trail, both beginning at 9 a.m.
Online registration is now open at www.5kbatavia.com. Race day check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. at River & State Street in Batavia.

Race entry fees are as follows:
5K Adult (19 and over) $30, Student (18 & under) $20

10K Adult (19 and over) $35, Student (18 & under) $25
Kids .25 Mile Fun Run (10 and under) $5.00
Additionally, there will be a Kids Costumed Fun Run for ages 10 and under beginning at 10 a.m. All registered kids will receive a goody bag.
Both the 5K and 10K will recognize first, second and third place winners in multiple age brackets. ALL registrants for the 5K/10K race will be automatically entered in a raffle to win gift certificates and other prizes. Local radio station 95.9 The River will be on hand to provide music and entertainment as well as giveaways.
In addition to the race, runners, walkers and all spectators are invited to attend a Community Pancake Breakfast at Pal Joey’s (31 N. River Street) near the race start/finish) from 8 a.m. – Noon. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.5kbatavia.com and at the Batavia MainStreet office during regular business hours.
Cost: $8 per person, $5 for Senior Citizens and children 10 and under.
A Bloody Mary Bar will be available for an additional cost.

Proceeds from the day will directly benefit local residents as the Batavia United Way allocates funds to 18 area non-profits providing services to Batavians.
