Bulldogs Unleashed Returns Next Summer, Artists Sought

The public art exhibit and subsequent auction helps to raise funds for Batavia's schools, parks and library.

BATAVIA, IL -- The bulldogs are back. Bulldogs Unleashed will return next summer with painted bulldog statues planned for various spots throughout Batavia. The fund-raising effort organized by the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence, Batavia Public Library Foundation, and the Batavia Parks Foundation is currently looking for artists of all ages to decorate the statues, according to a post on the Batavia Public School District Facebook page.

Full details and artist applications available at BulldogsUnleashed.org.

The fundraiser helped provide assistance to Batavia's schools, library and parks. The public art exhibit is meant to "enlighten, entertain, and brighten our community from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2018," according to the Bulldogs Unleashed website.
