The Congregational Church of Batavia is hosting the Building Bridges photo exhibit featuring 19 photographs of Immigrant and Refugee families and individuals, as we lean into the Biblical command to care for the resident aliens among us.
Thursday, April 23 the Church is hosting a night for the community to come and see these photographs.
- The event will open at 5:00, for folks to view the exhibit.
- At 6:00, Joel Duncan from World Relief will speak on the issues surrounding refugees in America.
- Afterwards will be a Dessert reception with food from immigrant owned bakeries.
- Admission is free. There will be a free will offering will be split between World Relief, and Family Diversity Projects.
The exhibit will also be available for viewing during the 10:00 AM worship on April 19 or 26.
