Batavia United Way invites the community to pull up a chair for Community Dinner Table on Sunday, August 30, 2026, an evening that celebrates local food, community connection, and neighbors helping neighbors.
This year's event features a relaxed coastal-inspired atmosphere with delicious offerings from local restaurants, beverages from area establishments, live music, raffles, and the signature one long community table that has become a hallmark of the event.
Community Dinner Table is more than an evening out—it is an opportunity for the Batavia community to come together in support of local families experiencing food insecurity. Proceeds from the event benefit Batavia United Way and its community partners working to ensure residents have access to nutritious food and essential resources.
"Community Dinner Table represents everything that makes Batavia special," said Kathy Evangelista, Executive Director of Batavia United Way. "When we gather around one table, we're reminded that everyone deserves a place in our community and access to basic necessities like healthy food. Together, we truly can make a difference."
