Congregational Church of Batavia

The Congregational Church of Batavia continues their Fall Education Series with Dr. Kimberly Rich; a grief educator, death doula, and end of life companion. Kim’s journey with grief started following the sudden loss of her mother in 2021. It was then that she first recognized the power of relationship in grief, and also realized the ways that we can fail to support one another as end of life approaches as well as in times of grief.
Two different topics will be presented as part of the series. “Caring for Yourself and Others in Times of Grief.” will be on October 6, 6:00 pm. “Every Day Counts: A Practical Guide to Living Fully” will be on October 13, 6:00 pm. Both presentations are at the Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia, IL. There is no admission fee and all are welcome. For more information, contact info@congregationalchurch.org or call 630-879-1999.

See Joseph Lombardo AKA Porkchopz LIVE @ The Comedy Vault Batavia on October 11, 2026!
Joseph Lombardo, aka Porkchopz, is blowing up across the internet for one reason—he says what everybody’s thinking and doesn’t give a damn who’s in the room. With over 300,000 followers and 50+ viral videos pulling in millions of views, he’s built a ruthless fanbase that lives for his signature callouts of “louuuzzza’z” and “reetahdz.”
Repping his brand PorkchopzComedy, Joseph brings a raw, New York Italian, no-holds-barred energy to every stage he touches. He’s performed at legendary spots like the Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store, and has opened for major headliners—but make no mistake, he’s not there to warm up the crowd… he’s there to take it over. A staple at Governor’s Comedy Club on Long Island—his home club and the place where he became a problem—Joseph built his name in front of live crowds, turning regular shows into chaos and leaving audiences roasted, shocked, and coming back for more. His style? Aggressive crowd work, savage roasts, and zero filter. Nobody’s safe, nothing’s off-limits, and the audience is part of the show whether they like it or not. It’s loud, it’s reckless, it’s real—and somehow, it’s all in good fun.
If you can’t take a joke, stay home. If you can—you’re in for a night you won’t forget.
