Cape Stolen From 'Super Bulldog' Statue In Batavia
The cape was stolen from a Super Bulldog statue that's part of a local art exhibit.
BATAVIA, IL — A red superhero cape was recently stolen from a "Super Bulldog" statue that's part of an art exhibit in Batavia. The cape was clipped from the statue on July 9, according to Kane County Chronicle.
The Super Bulldog statue, stationed in the 100 block of Houston St. is part of Batavia's Bulldogs Unleashed Project, which brings together artists to paint dozens of sculpted bulldogs throughout the city. The statue has an estimated value of $200.
Anyone with information about the stolen cape should call Batavia Police Department at 630-454-2500.
