Cars Stolen, Burglarized In Batavia: Police

BATAVIA, IL — Police in Batavia are investigating two car thefts and several vehicle burglaries that took place between Sunday and Monday. According to police, the incidents were concentrated on the city's southwestern side.

Police say the two cars were stolen early Monday morning. The cars that were burglarized in the overnight hours between Sunday and Monday were unlocked, according to police.

Batavia police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles at all times and to keep valuables and cars keys out of sight or in their homes.
