Celebrate Pride Month In Batavia: See What Events Are Scheduled

BATAVIA, IL — Starting Friday, several Batavia businesses are debuting promotions and products as part of Pride month celebrations.

"It'll be a fun weekend full of love and color, hope to see you there!" organizers wrote.

See which businesses are participating and what they're offering:

• Bocaditos Cafe, 11 N. Batavia Ave.
  • Pride alfajores proceeds go to organizations fighting for LGBTQ rights.
• CatTalpa Manor, 10 E. Wilson St.
  • Proceeds from small Pride paintings will go toward Youth Outlook. Plus, spend $50 or more and get a free tote bag.
• Healing Arts Metaphysical Center, 4 E. Wilson St.
  • Gemstone LGBTQ bracelets for sale. Plus, 10 percent discount for anyone showing pride (with tattoos, buttons, flags, etc.).
• Hearth & Hammer General, 319 Main St.
  • For every photo shared from the selfie wall, $1 will be donated to 360 Youth Services.
• House of 423, 10 E. Wilson St.
  • Pride tank tops and canvas tote bags for sale, with all proceeds going to Youth Outlook.
• Limestone Coffee & Tea, 8 W. Wilson St.
  • Free limestone Pride stickers and Pride drink, with proceeds going to Youth Outlook.
• MoJo Handbags Et•Cetera, 241 W. Wilson St.
  • The store will donate 15 percent of proceeds from special Pride merchandise to Youth Outlook.
• Paula's Consignment, 4.5 W. Wilson St.
  • Spend $30 or more and receive a free Pride sticker. Handmade stickers, pins and jewelry in Pride themes will be for sale.
• Pretty Pages, 241 W. Wilson St.
  • The store will donate 15 percent to Youth Outlook.
• Red Hive Market, 6 W. Wilson St.
  • The store will donate 10 percent of June sales to The Trevor Project.
• Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden, 12 N. River St.
  • June 10: Queer Prom. $10 cover, with proceeds supporting Point to Point and ArtBar Batavia "Say Gay."
  • June 11: The Vibe Raiders will perform in the Beer Garden with a $5 cover. Proceeds will go to support the Aurora Pride parade.
• Six Cypress Boutique, 103 E. Wilson St.
  • Limited edition Pride hoodies will be for sale.
• The Boardwalk Shops, 114 E. Wilson St.
  • DJ Robojojo will perform from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday. Plus, Pride photo opportunities and special Pride items at shops. Shops will also donate 15 percent of proceeds to Youth Outlook.
• The Tea Tree, 29 N. River St.
  • Special Pride items will be available for purchase.
• Wilson Street Mercantile, 222 E. Wilson St.
  • Desmond Brown: Special Pride items for sale.
  • lily & pie: Rainbow candy for sale.
