Chicago Swedish Glee Club to Perform at The Holmstad

The Chicago Swedish Glee Club to perform at The Holmstad on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m.

The Holmstad, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, will host the second oldest, continuous performing male chorus in the United States, the Chicago Swedish Glee Club, on Sept. 17.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. Sit back, relax and listen to a colorful repertoire of classical, patriotic, spiritual, popular and religious songs. The Chicago Swedish Glee Club, formed in 1869, is second only to the Harvard Glee Club as the oldest, continuous performing male chorus in the U.S. The group performs throughout the U.S. and abroad.
