CHIP IN Fundraiser at Gibby's Wine Den, Thursday, Dec. 5

CHIP IN: Community Helpers Impacting People in Need

Thanksgiving is over, college students
are heading back to school, Batavia cheered its football team on to win the
state championship-what more could we ask for? Your support of our first CHIP
IN fundraiser of course! Bonus - you can holiday shop and visit with friends at
the same time.

Thursday, December 5th from 5-8pm at Gibby's Wine Den (on Randall Rd. in

Geneva) will donate 10% of all sales to CHIP IN. This includes the purchase of
wine, ornaments, unique gifts and beautiful accessories. 100% of event proceeds go to assist our 40+ homeless or transitioning Batavia students.

We have zero administrative overhead.

We hope to see you there!

Also, Save the Date January 22nd -

O' Sole Mio in Batavia will be hosting a Pasta dinner fundraiser to support

CHIP IN. Greg Boerner will be preforming that evening and we hope to have a

small Silent Auction to boost our proceeds. Any ideas or contributions you have

for the auction would be appreciated. We may have a few volunteer slots open
for working the event as well. This fundraiser is a work in progress. Again, 100% of proceeds will go to CHIP IN.

CHIP IN  was started by local residents, parents and service groups to support students of BPS District 101 who find themselves in temporary housing situations and to support them while they are transitioning to permanent housing. We are working with the Director of Student Services of BPS101 to help the over 40 students with basic needs, including snacks, warm clothing, tutoring, school supplies and helping families with car repairs, supplying household items as they move into an apartment, and low cost computers.
