Batavia native completes physical therapy doctorate degree
Stephanie Nichols, who graduated in 2016 from Batavia High School, completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Marquette University in May.

She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 2020, receiving a degree in exercise physiology before also completing the school’s accelerated doctorate program in May. Dr. Stephanie H. Nichols, DPT, will work in Inpatient Neuro Rehab in Milwaukee starting in August.

Batavia student named to Lewis University dean’s list
Alyssa Haayer of Batavia, IL (60510) was among the more than 1,400 students honored on the Lewis University Dean's List for the 2022 Spring Semester.
Haayer is studying Special/Elementary Educ in the College of Education and Social Sciences at Lewis University.

Wheaton College names Batavia students to dean’s list
Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on the 4.0 scale. The following students are named to the Spring 2022 Dean's List:

Batavia student earns nod on Western Carolina University chancellor's list
Western Carolina University congratulates Sierra Leatherman, of Batavia, IL (60510), for being named to the Spring 2022 Chancellor's List. Leatherman was among more than 1,900 students to achieve this honor. To qualify for the Chancellor's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Casey Feltes of Batavia has earned Semester Honors for the Spring 2022 semester at Edgewood College. Full-time students who achieve a 3.5-grade point average for the semester are eligible for this honor.
