College Credits: Batavia Students Earn High GPAs, Making Dean's Lists

Student from Batavia makes University of Tampa dean’s list

Heath Powers, of Batavia, earned dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2022 semester. Powers is majoring in Allied Health BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Batavia native lands on Western Kentucky University dean’s list

Brady Krol, of Batavia, made it on the dean’s list in his first semester at Western Kentucky University. What made this more impressive to us is that he achieved this even though he missed two weeks of school in October being hospitalized with mono.

Batavia student makes Eastern Illinois University dean’s list

More than 780 undergraduate students have been named to Eastern Illinois University’s Spring 2022 Deans' List.

Representing Batavia is native Dylan M. Otto, who is studying history.

The dean’s list at EIU recognizes undergraduates with a declared major whose academic performance has been excellent. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.80 to 4.00 (on a 4.00 scale) while completing a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, excluding credit/no credit grades, in a fall or spring semester will be named to the list.

University of Iowa awards degrees to Batavia students

The University of Iowa awarded nearly 2,000 undergraduate, graduate and professional students degrees at the close of the 2022 fall semester. Eleven percent of the undergraduates graduated with multiple degrees and, as a group, undergraduates posted a 3.17 cumulative grade point average during their stay at Iowa.

Wisconsin Lutheran College dean’s list includes Batavia student

Lauren Nelson, of Batavia, a junior at Wisconsin Lutheran College, has been named to the college's Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. Lauren is a graduate of Aurora Central Catholic High School.

To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Batavia student named to Western Carolina University's dean’s list

Congratulations to Sierra Leatherman, of Batavia, IL, for being named to the Western Carolina University Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Leatherman was among more than 2,000 students to achieve this honor. To qualify for this honor, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.
