College Credits: Student Graduates With Supply Chain Management Degree

UW-Whitewater announces 2022 Batavia graduate

Jack Tryzna from Batavia, IL, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater as part of the 2022 spring commencement. Tryzna graduated with the following degree: Supply Chain Management - BBA

More than 1,530 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at this semester's ceremonies - held May 14 on the Whitewater campus, and May 17 on the Rock County campus.

The graduating class included 11 international students, 71 military veterans and 200 nontraditional students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 194 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees.

Batavia student named to spring 2022 dean's list at John Carroll University

Morgan O'Brien of Batavia has been named to the Dean's List at John Carroll University for the Spring 2022 semester.

Students eligible for the Dean's List must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Batavia students receive degrees from Miami University

Miami University awarded degrees to several Batavia students during spring commencement.

• Stefan Malm of Batavia, IL (60510) graduated with a B.S. in Business, majoring in Finance
• Ryan Sego of Batavia, IL (60510) graduated with a B.S. in Business, majoring in Finance
• Nathan Wright of Batavia, IL (60510) graduated with a Master of Science, majoring in Mathematics

Batavia native makes dean's list at RIT

James Yankowski of Batavia (60510) was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the Spring 2022 Semester. Yankowski is in the mechanical engineering technology program.

Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete," "D" or "F," and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Augustana College announces 2022 commencement participants

Augustana College held its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 22. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin delivered the address. The graduating class totaled 508.

Those graduating were given advice by Senator Durbin, who reflected on the resilience and hard work of this year's graduates and commended Augustana's commitment to preparing the next generation of peacemakers and problem solvers.

Among the graduates who participated in the ceremony:

• Bridget Grimm from Batavia was recognized with a major(s) in Communication Studies and Business Administration-Marketing.
• Brandon Knapp from Batavia was recognized with a major(s) in Business Administration-Marketing and Business Administration-Finance.
• John Macdonald from Batavia was recognized with a major(s) in Communication Studies.
• Madeline Runge from Batavia was recognized with a major(s) in Elementary Education.
