Community Blood Drive at Immanuel

Wed., Jul. 22, 2-6 PM, appointments recommended

On Wed., Jul. 22, 2-6 PM, Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, 950 Hart Rd., Batavia, is hosting a Community Blood Drive.

With more than 4,000 blood drives cancelled due to Covid 19, it is imperative that our blood supply chain is filled. People always need blood, that hasn't changed. While elective procedures were postponed for awhile, they are now being done.

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, formerly Heartland Blood Centers, never forgets the patients who receive the blood they collect. Every unit of blood is collected from volunteer donors who meet specific criteria and have been screened according to strict guidelines. Every unit [pint] is collected, transported, tested, and stored according to tightly-controlled procedures.
