Community Dinner Table Brings Local Flavor, Coastal-Inspired Evening To Downtown Batavia
Cuisine by local restaurants, beverages from local establishments, live music and raffles are on the docket for Batavia United Way's event.
BATAVIA, IL — Batavia United Way is bringing a coastal-inspired evening, local cuisine and one long dinner table to its annual fundraiser Aug. 30 on River Street.
The shared-table experience, planned from 4-6 p.m., allows residents to dine and mingle over a dinner, with chicken and shrimp as the main dish.
The full menu, and which establishments are participating, have yet to be revealed. The meal will be served family-style.

The $68 ticket price includes the evening's food, beverages and live music.
Proceeds from the event support Batavia United Way and its community partners working to provide resources for residents, including local food pantries, senior citizen food programs and meal deliveries for those with serious illnesses.
