Crash Victim Initially Believed Dead is Still Alive: Police
The crash happened Saturday evening in Batavia.

BATAVIA, IL - The male driver on a motorcycle was killed Saturday in Batavia and the female passenger on board the vehicle, who police initially reported was also killed, is in critical condition at a suburban hospital, the Daily Herald reports.
The crash happened at about 5:25 p.m. on Saturday in the 1200 block of Wind Energy Pass in Batavia when the motorcycle collided with another vehicle, according to the newspaper.
The female passenger was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove where she was initially reported dead, the Aurora Beacon-News reports. Police later said she was in critical condition and the information regarding her death was given to them in error.
