Crosswalk At Batavia Avenue, McKee Street To Be Removed

BATAVIA, IL — The City has received permission from the Illinois Department of Transportation to remove the pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of Batavia Avenue and McKee Street.

Crosswalk pavement markings and associated crosswalk signage will begin being removed at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Sidewalk areas and traffic lanes on Batavia Avenue may be closed at times to accommodate this work.

We thank you for your patience during the crosswalk removal process. Please cross Batavia Avenue using the crossing signal at Wilson Street.
