Death Investigation Underway In West Chicago: Police

WEST CHICAGO, IL --- Police in West Chicago are currently investigating a death that took place in the 600 block of E. Forest Ave. In a press release, the West Chicago Police officer Mike Rosenwinkel said the DuPage County Sheriff and the county's major crimes task force were assisting with the investigation.

Rosenwinkel added that law enforcement is currently looking into "numerous leads" in connection with the death. An autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday morning.

Police have yet to release the name or age of the victim.

Few details were available at press time, but police say they will send updates when more information is available.
