Domestic Stabbing Under Investigation In Batavia: Cops

BATAVIA, IL — Two men suffered minor stab wounds during a domestic disturbance in Batavia Thursday. Police say the incident took place just before 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of S. Jackson St.

When police got to the scene, they found a male, 29, with a "laceration" on one of his hands. Police say they encountered another male, 28, outside of the home with " multiple puncture wounds to his back."

Both victims were taken to local hospitals and treated for injuries that were not life threatening.

Batavia Police say that this was an isolated domestic incident and that there is no threat to the public. The stabbing is currently under investigation.
