This weekend you can see the hard work of about a hundred dancers come to life.
The dancers at the DancEncounter studio in Geneva will perform the traditional ballet The Nutcracker on Dec. 17 and 18 at 3 p.m. at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre (at ), Wilson Street and Western Avenue, Batavia.
The cast features all local dancers from the ages of 3 through adult and has been a rich part of the DancEncounter heritage throughout the history of the school (established in 1993).

Director Tracy Adams is delighted to head back to the wonderful facility at BFAC having choreographed for . She is so proud of the dancers' achievements. She is excited for them to experience the magic of sharing their performance with the community as they tell this timeless tale of a young girl's dream, in swirls of colorful costumes, music and dance.
