About This Event
Run like a Fox and win a Turkey on Thanksgiving Day! The Fox and Turkey Races are a Thanksgiving tradition. The races start and finish by the Peg Bond Center near the corner of Island Avenue and Houston Street in downtown Batavia on the beautiful Fox River. There is a Four Mile run and a One Mile Youth run. The Four Mile run is USATF certified.

This is a food drive event to help those less fortunate. Please consider giving an additional monetary donation and/or non-perishable food items. The money and food will be donated and distributed in the Fox Valley area via the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. Food and monetary donations will be accepted at packet pickup and on race day.

The 4 mile race is for all ages. Start and finish is on Houston St. near the Peg Bond Center. The course is an out, loop and back route along residential streets in northwest Batavia. There is one water station on the course near the two mile mark.
The loop in the course is run clockwise. The Four Mile race starts at at 9:00 AM. The course closes one hour after the start of the race. Water will be available near the halfway point of the 5K course.
The Youth Mile race is for ages 12 and under. Race starts on and finishes on Houston Street near the Peg Bond Center. The loop in the course is run clockwise.
