EVENT: Greatest Show on Earth
Join us for a program on art by French and American artists depicting the circus, presented by the Art Institute of Chicago.
On September 29, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, discover the grand circus spectacle of daredevil acts, amusing clowns, sleek animals, calliope music, and buttery popcorn through the artwork of French and American artists from the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. Art Insights will show artwork by Cezanne, Renoir, Degas, Toulouse Lautrec, Seurat, Tissot, and others depicting circus events.
