Family and Child Focused Chiropractic Practice Opens in Batavia
A formal Grand Opening is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1928 W. Wilson, Batavia.

Hanson Family Chiropractic has opened in Batavia at the corner of Randall Road and Wilson Street.
The practice, formed by Dr. David Hanson, a Batavia native, offers specialized natural, holistic drug-free chiropractic care for pre- and post-natal moms, newborns and infants, children with chronic pediatric issues and a variety of conditions including headaches, asthma, allergies, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders.
“The body is a self-healing organism controlled by the nervous system. But when the nervous system doesn’t function properly due to stressors, wellness cannot be achieved. From the physical stress of birth, injuries and chronic maladies to the emotional and environmental stresses we are subjected to every day, it’s no wonder we do not experience optimal wellness,” Hanson said in a press release.
“We go through life dealing with colic and stomach disorders, chronic and often debilitating pain, inflammation, headaches, ear infections, asthma, allergies, attention deficits, sensory processing disorders and more,” he says. “Our practice is dedicated to scientifically-grounded, neurologically-based chiropractic care. Beyond relief of pain, this proactive care is designed to improve the quality of life from birth to adulthood. Through gentle, professional chiropractic care and proactive wellness education and support, we can improve neurological function and allow the body to heal.”
Hanson is a Pediatric and Prenatal Specialist and a graduate of National University of Health Sciences with post-graduate training by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. He is certified in the Webster Technique and has specific training in caring for children with special needs.
“It has always been my goal to have a family-friendly office that provides care to the entire family. I make it a priority to always put patient education first,” he explains. “It is my mission to make sure the next generation of children and their families experience health and wellness well beyond what we’re currently experiencing. I believe we are healthy by choice, not by chance.”
Hanson’s practice also features a website with extensive educational information, and a regular newsletter. He plans to be a frequent speaker on family, pediatric and personal wellness issues. Hanson Family Chiropractic is a proud member of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce and the National Wellness Foundation. A formal Grand Opening is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.
