Genealogy program to focus on searches for live relatives

“Searching for Living Persons” is the next program in the Batavia Public Library’s Questions & Ancestors genealogy series and will be presented at 7 p.m., June 16. Professional genealogist, author, and blogger Thomas MacEntee will explain the most effective ways to find living people using Internet search engines and how making contact with living relatives can help hone one’s genealogy research skills. The program is co-sponsored by the Kane County Genealogical Society. Registration is required.
