Football Update: Batavia To Play Lake Villa Late Saturday Afternoon

The Bulldogs will play Lake Villa at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 12, at Lakes Community High School, 1600 Eagle Way in Lake Villa, IL.
This is the third-round playoff game for Batavia, and the first game away from home since Oct. 14.

This game's location is going to require some major carpooling. Lakes Community High School is only about four miles from the Illinois-Wisconsin state border.
Fear not, weary traveler: Residents and students will likely be driven in buses to the game, according to Dennis Piron, Batavia head football coach. More info will be announced later this week.
"It will be a bit concerning how far we have to (travel), but I'm happy to do it and excited about it," Piron said to Batavia Patch on Saturday.
Piron also says there also might be a family tailgate planned up in Lake Villa outside Saturday's game. A group of parents last Saturday put together a tailgate for hundreds of people before .
Batavia has played most of its regular and playoff games at home on the campus. The Bulldogs are 4-0 on the road this year, most notably in a .
