Foster Homes Needed for THIS Saturday 1/6/18

Will you help us bring the to safety and warmth?

It’s Winter and it has been unseasonably cold at our shelter partner in Tennessee. They are not equipped for such cold temperatures as many of their kennels are outside!
Safe Haven Dog Rescue would like to bring the dogs and puppies below to Illinois to make enough room to bring all the dogs inside. We do not have a physical location and we can only bring as many puppies to safety as we have foster homes.
These LAST few dogs have the chance to come to warmth and safety in Illinois THIS Saturday January 6th, but we need committed foster homes to make that happen.
Sonia - Female; Wire Terrier Mix; approximately 1 year and 52 lbs. This sweet, sweet gal is a most unusual looking dog. She has a beautiful wire coat. She loves other dogs and keeps a clean kennel too! Just about perfect in every way.
Moscow – Male Australian Cattle Dog mix; approximately 1 year old. Full of fun and typical Cattle Doge energy! This is a great size dog...49lbs!!
Cookie – Female Pit Mix, about 4 years old. Good with males and females, a little shy at first but warms up really quickly.
Lyla – Female Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix About 1 Year Old – Looking for a warm home to show her some love!

  • Have you been thinking about adding a canine companion to your family but not certain?
  • Or have you ever wondered if your dog would like a playmate?
  • Would you like to have the first choice to adopt some amazing pups?

NOW is your chance! Our fosters have the first choice to adopt!

Safe Haven Dog Rescue pays for all vetting (done locally in Geneva, South Elgin, Wheaton, Naperville and Elmhurst) and provides you with a crate, collar, leash, food, treats, toys, and more while you foster. You provide love (something they need most) and a safe warm place for them to stay until they find their forever home.
For more information about fostering or for a foster home application, please email erin.safehavendogs@gmail.com ASAP. This is URGENT, we need to get all of the dogs a space INSIDE! We must know by Thursday at 4pm!

If you are not in a position to foster, please SHARE this information to help us find fosters!
