Fox Valley Crisis Line Seeks Volunteers
The crisis line seeks empathetic individuals with good communication skills to participate in a ten-week Crisis Line training program.

The budget crisis in the State of Illinois has had a negative effect on our most vulnerable populations. This has led to feelings of frustration, anxiety, depression and an increased demand for Crisis Line support services. The Crisis Line of the Fox Valley offers free, supportive counseling and referrals to community resources.
The crisis line seeks empathetic individuals with good communication skills to participate in a ten-week Crisis Line training program.
Classes start on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Association for Individual Development’s Behavioral Health site located at 1230 N. Highland Ave., Aurora, IL 60506. This free training focuses on mental illness, crisis intervention, suicide, addictions, abuse, and community resources. For questions, or to register, please call Cheryl at 630-966-4304.
