Friends of the Batavia Public Library invite members and the public to learn about the Friends, how to volunteer, and to celebrate our work.

Mark Your Calendars. The Friends of the Batavia Public Library’s Annual Meeting will be on Saturday, February 17th in the main conference room at the Batavia Public Library at 10 a.m. We will be celebrating all things books, Batavia Public Library, and the Friends of the Batavia Public Library with a special “Hugs and Quiches” event. The Annual Meeting is open to all of the Friends membership. Not a Friend of the Library yet? You are still welcome to come to the meeting to learn about the Friends of the Library , what we do, how you can join, and how you can volunteer. There will be a short (very short) meeting for Friends business at the beginning and then we will celebrate. This year, brunch is included. We hope to see you there. Bring your friends (but please let us know they are coming by shooting us an e-mail at friends@bataviapubliclibrary. org).
Annual Memberships start at $10 for an individual, $15 for a family, and $5 for seniors. In the past year, the Friends has donated $20,000.00 to help the Batavia Public Library and its programs.
