Getting the Most from Your Digital Camera, parts 1 & 2
Shutterbugs, master your digital camera!

Professional photographer Roger Mattingly conducts two programs for amateur photographers who want to use their digital cameras to their fullest extent at the Batavia Public Library on Saturday, July 18. The first program, at 10 a.m., Mattingly explains the seven basic commands on a point-and-shoot digital camera. Participants will be divided by type of camera and should bring their cameras and their camera’s instruction book.
During the second program, at 1 p.m., Mattingly explains how to scan, shoot, and copy with a digital camera, including old family photos and valuables for insurance records; and how to use available light, the self-timer, and movie mode. Participants should bring their cameras and their cameras instruction books.
Both programs are free of charge and part of the Library’s “How-To Community” program series. Registration is required; register for either or both programs online at www.BataviaPublicLibrary.org or call the Reference Desk, (630) 879-1393, ext. 200.
