Acappellago, the western suburbs’ leading volunteer a cappella choral ensemble, invites one and all to its biennial benefit recital and silent auction, to be held at Cantigny Park’s Le Jardin room on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 7:00 pm.

Taking its lead from one of America’s foremost lyricists, Oscar Hammerstein, “A Grand Night for Singing” will feature solo and ensemble performances by Acappellago’s talented singers. The program will include both popular and classical selections. Represented composers will run the gamut from Harold Arlen, Beethoven, Flanders & Swan and Franz Schubert.
Silent auction items include a South African photo safari for two, theatre and sporting event tickets, wine tastings and brewery tours, art and fitness classes, items for the home and more. Hors d’oeuvres and a sweet table and a specialty cocktail by Quincy Street Distillery, with ID, are included with the purchase of a ticket. A cash bar will also be available.

This event will take place at the Le Jardin Room at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. Tickets are $50 each and are available via the Internet by visiting: www.Acappellago.org. A full table for eight will be available or $360 by calling (708)484-3797. A limited number of single tickets will be available at the door; however, full tables must be reserved by Sunday, February 12, 2017.
