HC Storm Teachers are “Ba Da Ba Ba Bah, Lovin' it” at McDonald's

HC Storm Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school's PTO.

Batavia| HC Storm Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school's PTO.

Teachers and support staff from HC Storm volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019, at the Batavia McDonald's located on Wilson Street. Where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.

The HC Storm staff members worked various jobs throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event. These jobs included, wearing an apple pie costume, apple pie seller, making ice cream treats, Front counter helper, delivering meals to customers, calling out orders, and working the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit the Schools PTO. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to HC Storm PTO.

John Lardas, Owner-Operator of the Batavia McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.

"We are proud to serve the families of the HC Storm community through the McTeacher's Night event," Lardas continued. "In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community."
