Help Local Families In Need!

DuKane ABATE 29th Annual Toy and Food Run October 11th!

Come out and help local area families in need. On October 11, 2015 the DuKane Chapter of ABATE of Illinois will host the 29th ANNUAL TOY AND FOOD RUN! This event not only donates toys and food to the Fox Valley and surrounding counties neediest families, it also hosts one of the BEST day of music you will ever experience! Also on hand will be Local, State and Federal Lawmakers to meet and greet!

Motorcyclists and non-riders alike from all over will gather in Elburn for a Toy Run Parade that will travel to Batavia VFW on River Road in Batavia. Being led by Santa Claus and many of our area’s lawmakers including the Governor who will be riding come to the VFW and donate toys and food that can grow to the 10,000s of donations on the famous charity truck.

This year’s event has music by Soul Patch Monkey at the Parade Gathering site, and onstage in Batavia is The Nick Bell Band, then National Recording Artist The Michael Allman Band - if you’ve heard of the Allman Brothers than come see his legacy Michael! Rounding out the day is the We Ain’t Right Band! VENDORS galore! From Jewelry to Parts; Clothing to gadgets! Food Vendors that will satisfy the biggest foodie! Massive bike show and more! ALL THIS FOR JUST $10 per person along with non-perishable food and unwrapped toy! You can’t beat a whole day of music for that!

Just want to see the motorcycle parade? The route is RTE 47 to Main Street to Wilson then to RTE 25. The parade leaves Elburn at 12:30pm. OR STOP BY and donate some unwrapped toys and non-perishable food. Everything helps. Want to sponsor?? Every dollar helps - call 630-669-2588!
