"Herbs for the Garden and Kitchen will be presented at 7 p.m., April 20, at Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave. Herbs are a wonderful way to introduce new flavors into a diet, new fragrances into a home, and texture in the garden. This program, presented by the Kane County Extension Service, covers growing, collecting, preserving, and using a variety of herbs. Registration is required for this "How-To Community" programs.
