Homicide Ruled In West Chicago Death: Coroner

WEST CHICAGO, IL --- A West Chicago death that has been under investigation for nearly a week has been ruled a homicide, according to the DuPage County Coroner's Office. The victim, who was identified as Alexander Nicolas, 26, of West Chicago, was found deceased Friday morning, according to authorities.

DuPage County officials, who have been tight-lipped about the investigation since its start, did not offer additional details about how Nicolas was killed. They say the investigation into his murder is ongoing.
