Kane County Man Detained Following Child Porn Charges: Mosser
Prosecutors said the 31-year-old disseminated a video file containing child sexual abuse material involving a victim under the age of 13.

KANE COUNTY, IL — An Elburn man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material was ordered detained as his trial is pending, according to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.
State's Attorney Jamie Mosser said Jonathan Albrecht, 31, electronically disseminated a video file containing child sexual abuse material involving a victim under the age of 13.
As a result, Albrecht was charged with two counts of child sexual abuse material, one for disemination and the other for possession.

Albrecht, of the 400 block of Willow Street, appeared in court for the first time July 12, where Mosser's office argued for his detention. Judge David Kliment granted the motion.
The investigation was conducted by the Kane County Child Exploitation Unit, a collaboration of the State's Attorney's Office and the Kane County Sheriff's Office launched in 2022 to fight the sexual exploitation of children.
