Lincoln & FDR:Two Wartime Presidents
If Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt were put in a room together, what would they talk about? You won't want to miss the meeting of two centuries!
Listen as the two most highly rated Presidents in United States history get together and talk about their presidencies, their leadership styles, and the challenges each faced as they led the country through the most turbulent times in the history of our nation. 2011 marked the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War - and the 70th anniversary of America's involvement in World War II. The following four years mark the anniversaries of many critical battles of both wars. This will be a truly historic observance!
R. J. Lindsey (who portrays FDR) and Max Daniels (who portrays Abraham Lincoln) are professional actors who have been nationally recognized for their excellence in portraying these historic figures. The audience will feel that they are truly in the presence of these two great war presidents. This will be the second appearance of Mr. Daniels. He and his wife presented a Lincoln program on July 4, 2013 at the Chapel.
