Planning to move, but not sure where to start? A panel of seasoned experts will share tips and answer questions during “Making the Move: Your Next Step,” a panel Q&A discussion hosted by The Holmstad on Tuesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. The Holmstad is a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located at 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia.
Senior relocation specialist Kate Curran and downsizing expert Tammy Bilek will lead the discussion. The pair will offer suggestions for preparing your home for the market, downsizing without the stress, and transitioning to retirement community living or living in a smaller space.
Curran works with Chicago-based Moving Station, a senior relocation company offering specialized assistance to seniors who are selling their homes. Bilek works with St. Charles, Ill.-based Honoring Aging, a senior move management company that specializes in downsizing and making the relocation a smooth experience.
