Man, 35, Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree: Batavia Police
The single-car crash happened near the intersection of Fabyan Parkway and Route 31 in Batavia.
BATAVIA, IL — A Batavia man was killed Tuesday night after his car struck a tree near Fabyan Parkway and Route 31, according to police.
Batavia police identified the victim as Robert Foley, 35.
Officers were dispatched at 9:43 p.m. for the single-car crash. A preliminary investigation determined the man was driving eastbound on West Fabyan Parkway, approaching Route 31, when the car left the road and hit a tree, officials said.

First responders extracted the man from the car and performed life-saving measures before he was transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a Wednesday morning news release.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
